Brain fog: there’s usually a reason.
Walking into rooms and forgetting why. Rereading the same email three times. Losing words mid-sentence. Brain fog isn’t a diagnosis — it’s a signal. Our job is to find what’s sending it.

A symptom with many possible sources.
“Brain fog” describes a cluster of experiences: slower thinking, poor focus, forgetfulness, mental fatigue, and trouble finding words. It isn’t a medical condition on its own — it’s the brain’s way of telling you that something it depends on isn’t right.
Your brain is one of the most energy-hungry organs in the body. It relies on stable blood sugar, oxygen-carrying red blood cells, thyroid and sex hormones, key nutrients like B12 and iron, quality sleep, and a calm-enough nervous system. When any of those systems slip, clarity is often the first thing to go.
That’s why we don’t treat brain fog with a single supplement or prescription. We look across the systems most commonly involved — hormones, metabolism, nutrients, sleep, inflammation, and mental health — and treat what we actually find.
The most common culprits
Hormone shifts
Perimenopause, menopause, low testosterone, and thyroid problems are among the most common causes we see.
Blood sugar swings
Insulin resistance and unstable glucose can cause energy crashes and difficulty concentrating.
Nutrient deficiencies
Low iron, B12, folate, or vitamin D can all impair energy and cognition.
Poor or disrupted sleep
Short sleep, insomnia, and untreated sleep apnea are major — and frequently missed — drivers.
Inflammation & gut health
Chronic inflammation and gut imbalances can affect how you think and feel through the gut–brain connection.
Mood, attention & medications
Depression, anxiety, ADHD, chronic stress, and some medications can all present as foggy thinking.
Find it, then fix it.
Your evaluation determines which testing is worthwhile — we don’t run every test on everyone.
Functional Medicine Consultation
A root-cause consultation covering your symptoms, sleep, stress, diet, medications, and health history — and a clear plan for which tests are worth running. The $250 is credited toward your labs if you order testing.
Cyberdrip Wellness Panel
75+ biomarkers spanning thyroid, sex hormones, blood sugar and insulin, iron, B12 and folate, inflammation, and more — the systems most often behind brain fog.
Micronutrient Testing (NutrEval)
A deeper look at vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, and antioxidants at the functional level, for when standard labs don’t explain your symptoms.
Your visit, start to finish
Evaluation
We map when your fog started, what makes it better or worse, and everything that might be feeding it.
Targeted testing
Labs are chosen to match your history — hormones, metabolism, nutrients, and inflammation are the usual starting points.
Connect the dots
Your provider explains your results in context. Often it’s more than one factor working together.
Treat the source
Hormone care, metabolic support, nutrient repletion, sleep evaluation, or mental health care — whatever the findings call for.
Track clarity
We follow up on how you’re thinking and feeling, retest when it makes sense, and adjust.
Honest expectations
When the cause is something like a deficiency or a hormone shift, many people notice clearer thinking within weeks of treatment. Multi-factor cases take longer to fully untangle.
Sleep is often the missing piece. If your history suggests sleep apnea or another sleep disorder, a sleep evaluation may be part of your plan.
If testing points toward ADHD, depression, or anxiety, our mental health team can provide a full evaluation and treatment.
