Telehealth Consent
Effective Date: February 10, 2025
Emergency Notice
Telehealth is not appropriate for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.
This document describes the nature of telehealth services offered by Cyberdrip Health and the terms under which those services are provided. By engaging with telehealth services offered through Cyberdrip Health, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Telehealth Consent.
What Is Telehealth?
Telehealth refers to the delivery of healthcare services using electronic communication technologies, including video conferencing, telephone consultations, and secure digital messaging platforms.
Through telehealth, Cyberdrip Health's licensed providers can conduct clinical evaluations, review diagnostic results, develop individualized treatment strategies, and provide follow-up care — without requiring an in-person visit, where clinically appropriate.
Potential Benefits of Telehealth
- •Access to licensed providers from the convenience of your home or preferred location
- •Reduced travel time and scheduling flexibility
- •Timely review of lab results and biomarker data
- •Continuity of care and ongoing clinical monitoring
- •Access to specialized functional and regenerative medicine expertise
Limitations and Potential Risks
Telehealth services have inherent limitations. You should be aware that:
- •A physical examination cannot be performed through telehealth. This may limit the provider's ability to assess certain conditions.
- •Technical failures, including poor internet connectivity or audio/video interruptions, may disrupt a visit.
- •Telehealth may not be appropriate for all medical conditions, urgent symptoms, or complex clinical situations.
- •Information transmitted electronically is subject to the limitations of digital security, though Cyberdrip Health uses reasonable safeguards.
- •In some cases, an in-person evaluation may be required before or after a telehealth visit.
Privacy and Security
Cyberdrip Health takes reasonable measures to protect the privacy and security of telehealth communications. However, no electronic communication method is fully immune from security risk.
You are encouraged to participate in telehealth visits from a private location to protect the confidentiality of your health information. Protected Health Information (PHI) transmitted during telehealth encounters is handled in accordance with our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
Technology Requirements
To participate in telehealth services, you will need:
- •A device with audio and video capability (smartphone, tablet, or computer)
- •A stable internet or cellular connection
- •Access to the communication platform specified by your provider
In the event of a technology failure, your provider will attempt to reach you via telephone to continue or reschedule the visit.
Patient Responsibilities
To ensure safe and effective telehealth care, you agree to:
- •Provide accurate, complete, and honest health information to your provider
- •Disclose all current medications, supplements, and existing medical conditions
- •Notify Cyberdrip Health of any changes in your health status between visits
- •Understand that withholding relevant health information may affect the safety and accuracy of care provided
- •Not use telehealth services for emergencies or urgent medical situations
Clinical Determinations and Provider Discretion
All treatment decisions — including whether to recommend, prescribe, or order services such as lab testing, therapies, or medications — are made at the sole discretion of your licensed Cyberdrip Health provider.
Treatment recommendations are based on clinical evaluation, applicable medical standards, provider judgment, and the laws of the state in which services are being provided. No treatment, prescription, or care plan is guaranteed or automatic.
Your provider may determine that telehealth is not appropriate for your condition and may recommend an in-person visit or referral to another provider.
Geographic Limitations
Telehealth services are only available in jurisdictions where Cyberdrip Health's providers hold active licensure and where applicable law permits the delivery of telehealth services. Service availability may vary by state and by the type of service requested. Please confirm availability with our team before scheduling.
